Wakelee School is about to partake in the Look for the Good Project. Today, the founder of the project, Anne Kubitsky, held an assembly and shared her ideas with the students. This program and awareness campaign is based around the core belief that gratitude changes mindsets, reduces violence, and improves everything.
This is a two week project where the students are being asked to take a look at their lives and think of the many things they are grateful for. The students will be sharing these ideas with their peers, teachers, and family throughout the project.
The mission of Wakelee Elementary School is to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of all students to become contributing members of the global community.
